| Georgian Mahogany Wall Hanging Corner Cupboard ca 1780
This beautiful antique Georgian mahogany wall hanging corner cupboard has a moulded cornice with dentil moulding above a central glazed cupboard door with unusual shaped moulding and boxwood string inlay. The door has a brass handle and the interior has three fixed shelves and the top shelf is shaped to hold wine glasses.
The piece has some old repairs, is a rich, dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Pair Porcerlain Wall Plates Victorian/Edwardian |
| This very pretty pair of late Victorian/Edwardian porcelain wall plates measuring 6" in diameter, and in perfect condition.
One plate has a painting of male and female mallards and the other is painted with male and female pheasants. The rims of the plates are reticulated, with gilding to the edges.
The plates are not marked, and both are in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs, and no loss of gilding or wear to the paintings.
This is a most attractive pair of plates depicting game birds, and would grace any wall or display cabinet. |
