William 1Vth Rosewood Scroll End Sofa |
| A Stunning William 1Vth Rosewood Scroll End Sofa.
This truly stunning antique sofa has an inverted serpentine show wood back, scrolling arms with accanthus detailing and finely carved legs, terminating in brass casters. This beautiful sofa has passed through our workshops where the old material has been taken off, the frame has been clamped and all the joints checked, prior to French polishing producing the wonderful deep show wood frame. Then the whole has been reupholstered from a bare frame using traditional material, the top coat being a lovely gold damask with gold braid to the arms and back. The slip cushion is piped in gold and filled with duck feather making it extremely comfy. The whole is now in totally immaculate condition and looks stunning!
It is always difficult to show the exact colour of the material used for our upholstery in a photo, so if you would like us to send you a swatch of the material used we will be more than happy to do so. This sofa is a lovely yellow/gold damask, it looks more peachy in the actual photo.
