Victorian Burr Walnut Biedermier Work Box ca 1860 This beautiful antique Victorian burr walnut biedermeir work box has a quarter veneer, serpentine moulded top and the interior has two replacement lift out trays above a storage compartment. The piece is an unusual curved shape and stands on four elegant tapering cabriole legs. The piece is a golden walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Victorian Burr walnut Dickens desk ca 1870 This stunning antique Victorian Walnut Dickens desk has a beautifully turned gallery flanked by four small mahogany lined drawers, has a central moulded writing slope and the interior has two small drawers and several pigeon holes. The desk has three faux black leather writing inserts, a central faux drawer above a large knee hole. Each pedestal has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with original turned knobs. The piece stands on a plain plinth and the back is finished so it can be placed in the centre of a room. The desk splits into three for ease of removal and is a rich golden walnut colour with striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
