Victorian Walnut Side / Writing Table ca 1890
This beautiful antique Victorian walnut side / writing table has a shaped raised moulded back with a rectangular solid walnut top above two drawers with original brass handles. The table stands on four beautiful turned legs with original brass cup castors and black porcelain wheels. The piece is a rich red walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Good Late 19th c Walnut Writing Table
This is a very elegant and rare late 19th c walnut writing table. The rectangular top with canted corners and moulded edge is in a well figured burr walnut over an oak-lined frieze drawer. The tan leather writing surface is edged with gilt tooling.
The slender turned and tapered legs are united by twin curved crinoline stretchers. There are no breaks in the legs or cracks in the top. This attractive table is a very good quality, rare piece with good rich colour and figuring.
