Huge Victorian Walnut Library Bookcase ca 1890
This magnificent Victorian walnut library bookcase has a moulded cornice above a deep frieze and five glazed doors with moulded edges, original brass handles, key and working locks. Each interior has three adjustable shelves and the lower section has a rectangular moulded top (a couple of minor marks) above five ash lined drawers with original brass handles, key and working locks. The central cupboard has two adjustable shelves, the piece stands on a moulded plinth, has original backboards, splits into six sections for ease of removals, is a rich warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Victorian WALNUT library bookcase.C1890. This splits into two parts, the top has three adjustable shelves behind the doors which retain the original glass. The bottom section has two drawers above two fielded panel doors with fixed shelf behind. The bookcase has been completely repolished to a warm brown colour. 48" wide x 19" deep x 86" high.
