VICTORIAN WALNUT SPOON BACK CHAIR. THE CHAIR HAS A KNURLED FRAME AND STANDS ON TURNED LEGS WITH CASTERS. THE CHAIR HAS BEEN NEWLY UPHOLSTERED IN A VERY EXPENSIVE FABRIC IN A RICH GOLDEN FABRIC DOTTED WITH SMALL FLOWERS IN AUTUMN SHADES. THE SIZE IS APPROX 29"WIDE, 24"DEEP, 41"HIGH. THIS IS A VERY ELEGANT CHAIR AND WOULD GRACE ANY ROOM. VERY REASONABLE TRANSPORT COSTS CAN BE ARRANGED.

Victorian Walnut Upholstered Armchair ca 1850 This beautiful antique Victorian walnut upholstered armchair has a shaped back with beautifully carved corners, two elegantly swept arms, stands on splayed back legs and has beautiful cabriole carved front legs. The chair has been recently upholstered in a pink floral fabric with a matching braid trim. The piece has a makers stamp M Wilson, Great Ormond Street, retailers stamp S. Dawes & Sons, Chelsea, is a rich warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. This is a lovely little late Victorian walnut tub chair covered in green leather with castors to the front legs. The leather to the back is buttoned and supported by turned spindles, with carved detail to the wooden ends. An ideal addition to a sitting room or perhaps the office.
