Victorian Walnut Upholstered Armchair ca 1850 This beautiful antique Victorian walnut upholstered armchair has a shaped back with beautifully carved corners, two elegantly swept arms, stands on splayed back legs and has beautiful cabriole carved front legs. The chair has been recently upholstered in a pink floral fabric with a matching braid trim. The piece has a makers stamp M Wilson, Great Ormond Street, retailers stamp S. Dawes & Sons, Chelsea, is a rich warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Circa 1860 wonderful Victorian carved walnut upholstered open armchair in very good condition.

Circa 1860 Victorian carved walnut open upholstered arm chair with lovely curved, shaped, and unusual pierced back, and scroll and leaf carved arms. The deep sprung serpentine seat stands over cabriole legs with brass castors. Upholstered in attractive neutral pattern to go with any decor. Very comfortable and with good proportions. Size- 26.5 inches wide by 25 inches deep (seat) by 43 inches high. If back is put flat against wall, with the projection, it is approximately 32 inches deep to middle of seat. A great chair for any room, with lovely colour and patina, in very good condition.
