Large cut glass & silver Victorian scent bottle

This is a superb very large 5 ½” tall Victorian hobnail cut glass scent bottle with a silver collar and lovely large screw on flower decorated repousse silver cap. The silver cap and collar are both hallmarked 1890.There is a large vacant cartouche to the top of the cap. The bottle has a star cut bottom. Condition: Virtually perfect. There are no cracks chips or nibbles to the cut glass, and the silver cap is perfect, with no dents nicks or holes to the embossing. There are a couple of extremely minor nicks and a little scratching to the top of the collar but these are really insignificant. The cap screws on perfectly to the collar. The glass stopper, which is original, is virtually perfect with no chips and just a couple of extremely minor insignificant nibbles. 1893 Victorian silver scent bottle

This is a quite beautiful little Victorian silver scent bottle with a glass interior and stopper. The cylindrical bottle is beautifully embossed with flowers as is the hinged domed cover. There is a vacant cartouche on top of the cover. Condition: Excellent. There are no dents splits or repairs to the body of the bottle or the lid. There are some very small nicks on the bottom, one slightly overlapping to the side, but very small and unnoticeable. The cartouche is vacant and has never borne an inscription or monogram. The hinge is perfect and the cap clips smoothly and firmly in place. The interior glass and original glass stopper are perfect. The stopper fits perfectly. 1887 BOXED HORTON & ALLDAY SILVER SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE

NEW. An elegant square silver scent bottle, with a lightly domed hinged top and glass stopper. The bottle comes in the original E. H. Davidson of Manchester retailer's box. 19thC large hallmarked silver and cut glass Victorian double ended scent bottle.

19th century Victorian English hallmarked silver and cut glass very large double ended scent bottle of superb quality. The lozenge shaped scent bottle has 10 panel cut sides with facet cut shoulders to each end. Both ends have very heavy gauge silver tops with interesting foliate and garland engraving. One end, for smelling salts, opens perfectly with a push button catch, and the inner lid is lined with glass and stamped Diller underneath, with the Queen's crown. The other end has a threaded top with original cork lining. Both ends close tightly and perfectly. The glass is in perfect condition. There is some minor bruising to the silver tops. Hallmarks are rubbed, so the exact year cannot be determined, but the young Queen Victoria's duty mark is quite clear. A really lovely and unusual very high quality scent bottle in very good condition. Size 5.25 inches long and 1.5 inches wide.

19thC Victorian cranberry glass solid silver topped double ended cut glass scent bottle.

19th century Victorian unmarked silver repousse topped foliate design cut cranberry glass double ended scent bottle. Lovely panel cut bottle, with one threaded end for smelling salts, and the other hinged end for scent, with interior glass stopper. There is one internal flaw to the glass between the two ends, just visible in last photograph. There is nothing felt to the exterior. In otherwise very good condition, and very collectable.

Victorian Porcelain Scent Bottle

This pretty Victorian porcelain scent or cologne bottle was intended for a lady's dressing table, and was probably manufactured in Germany or Austria around the 1880's. It measures 5" high including the stopper, and has no marks other than impressed numbers 1733 over 39 to the base. It is hand decorated with cerise daisies and sprigs, with just a band of gold around the base and the lid. There is no damage to the bottle or stopper and the gilding and pattern are not worn. This would make an attractive addition to a scent bottle collection or just as a dressing table ornament.

London 1896 Victorian solid English hallmarked silver topped pair of cut glass matching scent bottles with original stoppers. Hallmarks rubbed but visible under magnification. These are lovely heavily cut glass bottles with star cut bases. Size 6 inches high by 4 inches wide. Small hidden chips to inside bottom of stoppers as pictured, which cannot be seen unless stoppers are removed. Rare to find such a nice large pair, and in very good condition.
