The piece has rounded corners, stands on a plain plinth, has original back boards, is a rich golden birch colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. A highly figured Victorian satin birch chest of drawers Circa 1860 this wonderful blonde highly figured satin birch chest of drawers is simple in design and impressive in elegance. 3 long drawers with wooden knob handles and 2 short drawers above all run smoothly and hold ample clothing. The round shouldered top is also highly figured as are the sides. Standing on bun feet this is a beautiful item.
