Victorian 19th century superior quality napkin ring dated April 6, 1893 to interior.

Dated 1893 to interior, a superior quality Victorian silver plate napkin ring of circular waisted form, with flaring sides. Substantial size and weight at over 1 inch wide, there are pretty initials to the cartouche. Central band of unusual heart shaped engraving, and beaded edges. A lovely napkin ring which would make an excellent gift for a special event, or to use on your dining table, mixed with antique and vintage silver.

Birmingham 1897 Victorian period English hallmarked solid silver napkin ring with crimped and beaded edges in lovely condition. Engraved as a gift with a name and the year 1901 (can be easily buffed off if desired), this is a rare surviving example of a Victorian napkin ring. It is much more common to find 20th century examples. In a charming style, and in very good condition, this makes an excellent gift for a special event, or to use on your dining table, mixed with other antique silver.

The cartouche is beautifully and lightly engraved with design and initial. It is very unusual to find 19th century napkin rings, particularly in usable condition. Most are from the 20th century. This is a lovely rare example, in very good condition. It would be a lovely gift for a special event, or a great addition to the dining table, mixed with other antique silver.
