This beautiful antique Victorian oak library table / writing desk has a rectangular moulded top with a green tooled leather writing insert above two mahogany lined frieze drawers with turned oak knobs and brass key escutcheons. The piece stands on four beautiful turned legs with brass and brown porcelain castors, is a rich medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Writing Table by Howard & Sons
This fine Victorian writing table in oak carries the retailers drawer stamp "Howard & Sons, Berners St". The high quality original brass locks to the twin drawers are by Hobbs & Co of London.
The gadroooned top is inset with a faded black leather (replacement), with gold tooling.
The table is characterised by wonderful detail to all elevations, with twin dummy drawers to the rear, making the piece suitable for a free-standing location.

This beautiful small antique Victorian oak bureau / writing desk has a rectangular top above a moulded fall front and the interior consists of six pigeon holes, two small drawers and a central cupboard door. The lower section has four graduating oak lined drawers with replacement swan neck handles and the piece stands on beautiful shaped bracket feet. This is a period piece that has been later converted to a unique smaller size. The piece is a medium / dark oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

V06 Victorian Writing Desk in Oak.
This charming desk has a black leather top, with gold-tooling. There are good quality (original) solid brass handles to the seven drawers. The ring-turned legs terminate with brass castors and black porcelain wheels.
