Victorian Mahogany Triple Combination Wardrobe
This is a fabulous Victorian mahogany triple combination wardrobe with a superb colour, the doors having the original cut glass handles. There is hanging space to the right with a shoe or hat drawer at the bottom. On the left are four slides over a chest of two small and two large drawers, all of which slide in and out with ease, the drawers having brass handles. There is a mirror to the central door. The cornice is elegant in its simplicity. A truly magnificent wardrobe in excellent condition.
Maximum dimensions: 206cm (81") high, 61cm (2ft) deep, 194cm (76.5") wide.
This is a stunning mid-Victorian mahogany triple break front combination wardrobe. The hanging cupboards to either side have the original shoe or hat boxes in the bottom with hinged lids. The cupboard on the left has a sliding hanger rail front to back with wooden clothes pegs around; the cupboard on the right has a hanging rail from side to side, also with wooden clothes pegs around. The central cupboard has four slides and three variegated size drawers. On the outside, each door has the original cut glass handles and the central door has the original mirror (with some slight amount of foxing in the middle). It has a timeless classical style which would grace any room, the cabinet makers having used the finest quality veneers to create the beautiful effect on the front.

HANDSOME & IMPOSING VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT TRIPLE WARDROBE COMPACTUM OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND DATING FROM AROUND 1860.
IT HAS A MOULDED CORNICE TOP ABOVE A DEEP MAHOGANY FRIEZE. THE BREAKFRONT HAS A FULL LENGTH BEVELLED MIRRORED DOOR SURROUNDED BY MAHOGANY FRAME WITH ARCHED TOP AND CARVED ACANTHUS CREST. INTERNALLY THERE IS AN OPEN SECTION WITH BRASS HOOKS AND FIVE GRADUATING DEEP DRAWERS ALL WITH BRASS HANDLES AND BEING MAHOGANY LINED. THERE ARE TWO FURTHER PANELLED AND ARCHED DOORS TO EITHER END FITTED INTERNALLY WITH BRASS HANGING RAIL AND DRAWER TO THE BOTTOM. IT STANDS ON A MOULDED PLINTH BASE.
IT SPLITS INTO SIX PIECES FOR TRANSPORTING.
