Victorian Mahogany Circular Tilt Top Dining Table ca 1840
This beautiful early Victorian mahogany tilt top dining / breakfast table has a circular solid mahogany top above a deep frieze. The top tilts and has its original mechanism. The piece stands on a beautiful cylindrical pedestal, tripod shaped base with turned bun feet and original brown porcelain castors. The base has some old veneer repairs (not very noticeable), the piece is a rich red mahogany colour, has recently been professionally French polished and is in a very good condition.

This beautiful Victorian mahogany tilt top dining table has a circular moulded top which tilts and has original brass fittings. The piece stands on a beautiful turned pedestal and four splayed reeded legs with brass castors. The piece is a golden mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
