The piece has a rectangular moulded top with rounded corners and a black faux leather writing insert above three mahogany lined frieze drawers with original turned knobs. The piece stands on four beautifully turned tulip legs, is a warm medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The lower section has a shaped moulded top above a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer, beautiful scrolled carved front legs and stands on a shaped moulded base with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
