Victorian Mahogany Duchess Dressing Table ca 1870 This beautiful Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table has an arched moulded swing mirror and two beautiful turned reeded supports above three small mahogany lined jewellery drawers with original turned knobs. The piece has a moulded shaped top (has an old repair) above a deep shaped frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer. The piece stands on beautiful shaped scrolled carved front legs with shield motifs and a lower shaped tier with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Antique Victorian Duchess Dressing Table

A Victorian 'Duchess' Dressing Table in Mahogany, with a Cosmetic drawer, six (6) small drawers (three either side) and inset bottom shelf. The bevelled mirror has slight ageing at the top but other than that it is fine. A great deal of care and attention has been given to restore this dressing table to its' original condition within our own workshops. Sizes: Height: 64.5" (160 cms.)
