The lower section has a shaped moulded top above a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer, beautiful scrolled carved front legs and stands on a shaped moulded base with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. 19thC Victorian elegant and unusual solid mahogany dressing table/washstand.

19th century Victorian very elegant solid mahogany dressing table/washstand with unusual outsweeping scrolled gallery, and arched back. Two drawers provide excellent storage, and the whole stands on beautifully turned legs and central stretcher. The colour is lovely, and the table has been given a hand waxed finish. In very good original antique condition.

Antique Victorian Duchess Dressing Table

A Victorian 'Duchess' Dressing Table in Mahogany, with a Cosmetic drawer, six (6) small drawers (three either side) and inset bottom shelf. The bevelled mirror has slight ageing at the top but other than that it is fine. A great deal of care and attention has been given to restore this dressing table to its' original condition within our own workshops. Sizes: Height: 64.5" (160 cms.)
