A good quality early Victorian mahogany dining or centre table with tilt top on hexagonal centre column support on a platform base with paw feet. The solid mahogany top is particularly well figured and the tilt mechanism enables this to be displayed at its best when not in use. The table seats 6 people comfortably. Dimensions: 48" diameter, 30" high.

Large Victorian Mahogany Circular Dining Table ca 1860 This beautiful large Victorian mahogany dining table has a circular moulded top with ebony string inlay around the edges. The table has a small frieze, the top tilts and the banjo catch and brass fittings are original. The piece stands on a beautiful central bulbous turned pedestal, has tripod scrolled legs with original brass castors and central turned finial. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The top tilts and has its original mechanism. The piece stands on a beautiful cylindrical pedestal, tripod shaped base with turned bun feet and original brown porcelain castors. The base has some old veneer repairs (not very noticeable), the piece is a rich red mahogany colour, has recently been professionally French polished and is in a very good condition.
