Pair of Victorian Mahogany Hall Chairs ca 1890 This beautiful pair of antique late Victorian mahogany hall chairs have a swan neck pediment above a central panel with moulded edges and four turned bobbins below. The seats are solid mahogany with canted corners above a deep frieze and a reeded edge. The back legs are splayed and the front legs are beautifully turned. The chairs have been constructed from a good quality mahogany, are a light golden mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in good condition and have been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
