Victorian Mahogany double wardrobe / armoire ca 1890. This stunning antique Victorian Mahogany double wardrobe / armoire has a moulded cornice above a deep frieze, it has two cupboard doors with raised fielded panels, later key escutcheons, key and working lock. The right hand interior has brass hooks above a fixed shelf and has four sliding linen trays. The left hand interior has a brass hanging rail and is deep enough for a modern coat hanger. The lower section has a moulded top above a deep mahogany lined drawer and stands on raised legs. This is a quality piece with it’s original mahogany backboards. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing and splits into three for ease of removal. The right hand interior has a brass hanging rail and the left has three oak lined linen trays above three oak lined drawers with brass swan neck handles. The piece stands on a plain plinth and has it’s original backboards. It is a warm light / medium mahogany colour and has a striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition, which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Victorian Scottish Mahogany Wardrobe/Armoire ca 1850 This beautiful Victorian Scottish mahogany double wardrobe / armoire has a stepped top above a moulded cornice and deep frieze. The piece has two full length doors with arched moulded panels, two beautiful carved motifs; key working lock and all the corners are rounded. The interior has two brass hanging rails above smaller graduating oak lined drawers above one long oak lined deep drawer. All the drawers have original turned knobs. The piece splits into three sections plus doors for ease of removals, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The left interior has four mahogany lined sliding linen trays above three graduating mahogany lined drawers with original turned knobs (one is chipped). The right interior has a hanging rail and hooks and the left interior has a hanging rail and four later removable shelves.
