Early Victorian Flamed Mahogany Chest of Drawers ca 1840 This beautiful antique early Victorian flamed mahogany chest of drawers has a rectangular top with half rounded moulding above two over three graduating cock beaded drawers with flamed mahogany fronts, original turned knobs and stands on beautiful turned bun feet. The piece is a medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Beautiful antique Victorian Scottish mahogany chest of drawers has a serpentine top above a concealed frieze drawer, has a central hat drawer, flanked by smaller cock beaded drawers. The piece has three longer oak lined cock beaded drawers with turned knobs, has beautifully turned column sides and stands on four turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a good grain and patina. In very good condition which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Height 121cms / 47.5inches.
