Victorian Mahogany Wine / Lamp Table ca 1870 This beautiful Victorian antique mahogany wine / lamp / occasional table has a rectangular top with rounded corners above a shaped frieze with turned finial. The piece stands on a beautiful turned pedestal and has tripod splayed legs. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Thia is a an unusual victorian oil lamp, the pink glass base with drop in well/font supporting a double burner with a period etched tulip shade, the shade with engraved panels depicting birds rising from bamboo foliage, the entire supported on a black ceramic circular/brass base.

Faboulous pair of oil lamps, with cut glass bowls supporting originial rubly etched & crimped tulip shades, the brass carrier bases supported on rouge marble circular stepped base, the body of each decorated with applied maiden winged figures as handles, the drop in weighted inserts carrying double clip on 'Hinks' burners, a small applied tablet to each burner reads 'J. Holgate & Co. 20 st. Mary's gate, Manchester and are also stamped Hinks & sons patent, also stamped Rd 97643
