19th century Victorian unusually large cut glass jug in excellent condition.

19th century Victorian unusually large cut glass jug in excellent condition. Beautifully cut, with multiple variations of patterns to the body, and a star cut base, this jug measures 12 inches high by 9 inches wide (spout to handle) by 8 inches in diameter. It would be magnificent to hold water at the dining table, or as an impressive jug for cool drinks for entertaining. Also, it could be a lovely vase for tall flowers. In excellent condition.

Birmingham 1897 Victorian solid silver topped large and unusual cut and etched glass honey or preserve jar.

Birmingham 1897 Victorian English hallmarked solid silver topped large cut and etched glass clover honey, preserve, or jam jar, with silver and ivory knob. The vase shaped jar has a beautiful stylised flower and stem design of clover and leaves. The use of both cut and etched glass is a striking design. With just one very tiny chip to inner side of top lip, which doesn't show, this unusual jar is in very good condition. Size-5.5 inches high by 4 inches wide. A selection of silver preserve and long handled condiment spoons and forks are available if desired, which would complement this piece. This would also be an excellent container for serving honey, pickles, onions, chutney and other condiments.
