Victorian Mahogany Duchess Dressing Table ca 1870 This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table has a shaped moulded tilting mirror with beautiful carving and is supported by two beautifully carved uprights and several mahogany lined jewellery drawers with a serpentine central section. The lower section has a shaped moulded top above a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer, beautiful scrolled carved front legs and stands on a shaped moulded base with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The piece has a moulded demi-lune top, two small jewellery drawers with small turned mahogany knobs and a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer and original mahogany turned knobs. The central leg is beautifully carved, scrolled and stands on a shaped base. Antique Victorian Duchess Dressing Table

A Victorian 'Duchess' Dressing Table in Mahogany, with a Cosmetic drawer, six (6) small drawers (three either side) and inset bottom shelf. The bevelled mirror has slight ageing at the top but other than that it is fine. A great deal of care and attention has been given to restore this dressing table to its' original condition within our own workshops. Sizes: Height: 64.5" (160 cms.)
