Georgian Mahogany Drop Leaf Dining Table
This Georgian mahogany table has survived with its original polish and the table top tells its history. It is a table full of character with marks of usage over two centuries. It is being sold in its original condition, with vibrant colour and lovely shine. Some of the softer wood underneath has had woodworm in the past, but this has been treated as a matter of course. It stands on square chamfered legs which have a gate leg mechanism to support two drop leaves.
Victorian solid mahogany dining table
A substantial Victorian Mahogany drop flap dining table standing on ball and claw feet. This very heavy table is of solid construction which is a good indicator of its quality, the top being of solid mahogany measuring an inch thick. The leafs are almost to the ground and although it has had a few running repairs in its life it is essentially in very good condition and will provide an excellent family table to seat 8.
