Victorian Mahogany Duchess Dressing Table ca 1870 This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany duchess dressing table has a shaped moulded tilting mirror with beautiful carving and is supported by two beautifully carved uprights and several mahogany lined jewellery drawers with a serpentine central section. The lower section has a shaped moulded top above a deep frieze with a central mahogany lined drawer, beautiful scrolled carved front legs and stands on a shaped moulded base with turned bun feet. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. 19thC Victorian elegant and unusual solid mahogany dressing table/washstand.

19th century Victorian very elegant solid mahogany dressing table/washstand with unusual outsweeping scrolled gallery, and arched back. Two drawers provide excellent storage, and the whole stands on beautifully turned legs and central stretcher. The colour is lovely, and the table has been given a hand waxed finish. In very good original antique condition.

Each pedestal has a moulded top with rounded corners above an arched panelled door with key and working lock. The left interior has one removable shelf and the right interior has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with turned knobs. The piece stands on a shaped moulded base, has original backboards, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. The piece has a tilting, bevelled mirror with a scrolled pediment, column supports and two small jewellery drawers. Each pedestal has five graduating oak lined drawers with original brass handles and stand on inverted moulded plinths. The central section has an oak lined drawer with original handles above a velvet covered foot rest with lift up lid and hidden compartment.
