Victorian Lion Paw Wind Out Dining Table ca 1890 This beautiful antique Victorian lion paw wind out mahogany dining table is of stunning quality and has its original Joseph Fitter wind out mechanism and winding handle. The top has two additional, removable leaves and when not extended is a circular shape. The top has a moulded carved edge above dentil moulding, a deep frieze and stands on four beautiful cabriole legs with scrolled tops and intricately carved lion paw feet with brass castors. The piece will seat 10 – 12 people, is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good original condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
