6 Victorian mahogany balloon back dining chairs An attractive set of 6 mahogany balloon back dining chairs with traditional hoop backs, serpentine overstuff seats and cabriole legs, the chairs have been taken back to bare frames and clamped as necessary, prior to traditionally french polishing and waxing. These lovely chairs have been traditionally reupholstered in a beautiful cream damask with co ordinating cream braid. Beautiful condition Price £2200 (Ref : D167)

Set of Six Victorian Hepplewhite Style Dining Chairs ca 1890 This beautiful antique set of six Victorian Hepplewhite style mahogany dining chairs consists of two carvers and four dining chairs. Each chair has a shaped back with wheat sheaf carving on a splayed carved back splat. The chairs have splayed back legs, tapering front legs with spade feet and H stretcher for added stability. The chairs are upholstered in brown leatherette (slightly shaded), are a warm medium walnut / mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
