This beautiful antique Victorian oak library table / writing desk has a rectangular moulded top with a green tooled leather writing insert above two mahogany lined frieze drawers with turned oak knobs and brass key escutcheons. The piece stands on four beautiful turned legs with brass and brown porcelain castors, is a rich medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

| Victorian Walnut Inlaid Davenport / Desk ca 1880
This beautiful antique Victorian walnut inlaid davenport / desk has a small plaque inside with initials ‘MF from RBC Christmas 1887’. The piece has a brass gallery above a lift up lid and the interior has several pigeon holes and a pen holder. The beautifully shaped lift up writing surface has a green tooled leather writing insert and the interior is veneered in striking bird’s eye maple and has a small central mahogany lined drawer. One side of the piece has four graduating mahogany lined drawers with original turned walnut knobs and the other side has four faux drawers. The piece stands on four black porcelain castors, is beautifully inlaid, is a rich medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
