19th century Victorian upholstered chair with handworked original tapestry needlework cover, signed by artist.

19th century Victorian upholstered chair on turned legs with original castors. Sprung seat and curved back later upholstered in original handworked needlepoint tapestry covering with velvet backing, signed by artist, Audrey Randall, and dated 1967. The very striking pattern of birds and flowers is beautifully executed to seat and back, and is done on a neutral background, to go with any decorating scheme. A very unusual and comfortable chair, in very good condition.

Set of six Victorian Walnut Salon / Dining Chairs ca 1890 This beautiful antique set of six Victorian walnut salon / dining chairs have shaped, beautifully carved backs, stand on splayed back legs and have beautifully turned reeded front legs. The chairs have a couple of minor old repairs, have been newly upholstered in a neutral fabric, are a warm medium / dark walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, are in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
