Victorian porcelain Christening mug, dated 1868, with painted seascape and landscape.  

Antique Victorian porcelain very charming child's Christening mug or cup. Painted with 1868 birth date and name in gilt lattering, the cup also includes both a beautiful seascape and landscape decoration. Size 3.5 inches high, by 3.25 inches in diameter. In very good condition, with just some very minimal gilding wear to top outer rim, and slightly darkened handle. A lovely and very collectable example.

Pair Porcerlain Wall Plates Victorian/Edwardian  

This very pretty pair of late Victorian/Edwardian porcelain wall plates measuring 6" in diameter, and in perfect condition. One plate has a painting of male and female mallards and the other is painted with male and female pheasants. The rims of the plates are reticulated, with gilding to the edges. The plates are not marked, and both are in excellent condition, with no cracks, chips or repairs, and no loss of gilding or wear to the paintings. This is a most attractive pair of plates depicting game birds, and would grace any wall or display cabinet.

1850-1890 Victorian majolica 5 piece pond lily and heron service comprising four plates plus comport or cake stand.  

Victorian 1850-1890 majolica five piece service comprising 4 plates and a comport in the pond lily and heron pattern. Pictured in the Collectors Encyclopaedia of Majolica, they feature overlapping lily pads with a lily blossom in the middle. Rarely marked, such pieces are usually made by Wedgwood or Holdcroft. The comport features herons standing amongst reeds on each foot, and has a gorgeous mottled glaze to back. There is a fine hairline to one plate. It is rare to find so many pieces together. Size 9.25 inches diameter. Comport is 3 inches high. In very good condition.

Victorian 'Imari' Vase  

A large victorian 'imari' vase , painted in tradional imare colour/pattern, size is an impressivr 16 inches tall of bulbous tapering form.

19th C. Blue & White Charger  

A good blue and white charger, 'comb-back reverse' no damage or restroration, size is approx., 16 x 12 inches

Pair Victorian Porcelain Ribbon Plates  

A very pretty pair of mid to late 1800's porcelain ribbon wall plates decorated with transfer printed and hand finished posies of roses. They measure 8.75" in diameter, and the pierced borders, made to thread ribbon through for hanging as wall decorations, are decorated with gilding. They are in very good condition, with no cracks, chips or wear to the decoration. They are unmarked except for an impressed 5 on the back of one of the plates, and are continental, most probably German.

19thC handpainted Victorian china nursery tea service.  

19th century Victorian handpainted china nursery tea service comprising 20 pieces: teapot and lid, sugar bowl and lid, milk jug, waste bowl, two cake plates, and six cups and saucers, all decorated with handpainted floral garlands. All pieces are in very good condition with the exception of one saucer that was previously broken and restuck. Size: teapot 6.5 inches wide including handle, and 4 inches high. Jug 3.5 inches wide including handle by 3.5 inches high. Sugar bowl 3.25 inches diameter by 3.5 inches high. Cake plates 7 inches wide including handles. Waste bowl 3.75 inches diameter by 2.25 inches high. Cup 3.5 inches wide including handle, and 1.75 inches high. Saucer 4 3/8 inches diameter. A lovely and hard to find complete nursery tea service, in very good condition.

Pair Victorian Small Bisque Vases.  

This pretty pair of continental bisque porcelain vases were made in the late 1800's, before 1891, and are in perfect condition. They measure approximately 6" high, and bear no maker's marks, just the numbers 7101 and 35 to the base. They are a pale yellow in colour, deepening to beige at the top and on the twisted handles, similar to the English blush porcelain of that period. They have glazed cobalt blue to the necks and the fronts are decorated with a spray of roses, forget-me-nots and lily of the valley.

graduated set of 3 Jasperware jugs  

A set of 3 graduated victorian jasperware jugs, the largest 192mm standing, 80mm dia., at rim to 95mm at base, second jug is 165mm standing, 80mm at rim to 90mm at base, third is 150mm standing, 75mm dia., at rim, to80mm at base, largest jug has a very minor 'flake' to base rim, difficult to see, otherwise condition is very good.

Antique Wedgwood Jasper ware tea pot  

A good antique Wedgwood jasperware teapot, impressed 'Wedgwood' and 'England' mark to the base, very good condition, no repairs, size is 230mm at longest handle to end of spout, and standing about 110mm high.

Rare Victorian Ceramic Carpet Bowl  

This rare Victorian carpet bowl measures approximately 3.5" in diameter, and would have been manufactured in Staffordshire in the 1800's. The mauve-pink floral pattern is unusual, as many such bowls have geometric patterns. The stilt marks where it was placed in the kiln are clearly seen on the bowl, and there are no chips or cracks, only some slight crazing, commensurate with age. These bowls are becoming hard to find in good condition, and this one is particularly pretty.
