HANDSOME & IMPOSING VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BREAKFRONT TRIPLE WARDROBE COMPACTUM OF EXCELLENT QUALITY AND DATING FROM AROUND 1860. IT HAS A MOULDED CORNICE TOP ABOVE A DEEP MAHOGANY FRIEZE. THE BREAKFRONT HAS A FULL LENGTH BEVELLED MIRRORED DOOR SURROUNDED BY MAHOGANY FRAME WITH ARCHED TOP AND CARVED ACANTHUS CREST. INTERNALLY THERE IS AN OPEN SECTION WITH BRASS HOOKS AND FIVE GRADUATING DEEP DRAWERS ALL WITH BRASS HANDLES AND BEING MAHOGANY LINED. THERE ARE TWO FURTHER PANELLED AND ARCHED DOORS TO EITHER END FITTED INTERNALLY WITH BRASS HANGING RAIL AND DRAWER TO THE BOTTOM. IT STANDS ON A MOULDED PLINTH BASE. Victorian Mahogany Breakfront Triple Wardrobe ca 1870 This beautiful Victorian mahogany breakfront triple wardrobe has an unusual moulded cornice above a deep frieze and a large central mirrored door flanked by two moulded, panelled doors, the corners are canted. The central interior has hanging hooks above a fixed shelf and five sliding linen trays. The right interior has hanging hooks, a later hanging rail, one fixed shelf and a sliding linen tray. The left interior has a hanging hook above a fixed shelf and a sliding linen tray (a modern hanging rail could be fitted, at no extra cost if required). The piece stands on a plain breakfront plinth, has original backboards, splits into five sections plus doors for ease of removals, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Victorian mahogany breakfront chiffonier C1870. This chiffonier has been restored by ourselves and polished to a mellow mahogany colour. The quality of the carvings is particularly good. Behind the nicely figured doors are drawers, linen slides and a cellarette. 78" wide x 23" deep x 57" high.

Early Victorian Breakfront Large Mahogany Combination Wardrobe Dating to Circa 1850, this fabulous example of an early Victorian flame mahogany breakfront wardrobe is particularly attractive having a good depth of colour with 4 highly flamed solid mahogany doors. Well set out inside, the central section is flanked by 2 full length hanging sections with fitted brass rails and original wooden pegs with a drawer below. The depth of these is 20" which is perfect for modern hangers. We have lined the interior with a cream calico which contrasts the depth of colour of mahogany beautifully. The central breakfront section consists of 4 mahogany faced linen trays which all run smoothly over 2 long and 2 short graduated drawers with brass drop handles. Dividing into 5 sections for ease of transport the largest section being the central section. All locks have been serviced and all runners checked to ensure that this beautiful wardrobe doesnt disappoint in any area. Beautiful!
