Small Victorian Bow Front Chest of drawers

An excellent Victorian mahogany bow front chest of drawers. Lovely size and proportions and beautifully made. The chest standing on original splayed bracket feet with a shaped apron, has two half width drawers over two of full width, all being nice and deep offering plenty of practical storage space. Each drawer constructed using fine early dovetail joints is lined in solid oak, with cockbeading to the fronts and original turned knobs. This is a super little chest with excellent grain, colour and patina. Dimensions: All are maximum sizes. 35.5” wide (90cm) x 19” deep (48.5cm) x 35” high (89cm) Nationwide delivery available.

There are two half width drawers over three full width drawers which are graduated in depth. All the drawers have been constructed using hand-made dovetail joints and still retain the original turned knobs. Sitting on the original turned and carved legs which havn't been cut down, this chest is in excellent condition with no veneer missing. Original turned handles with mother of pearl inserts, pine lined drawers which all run smoothly. Top has been lightly repolished and the chest retains its original french polished finish. Attractive Late Victorian Mahogany Bow Fronted Hall Table c1890

This is an attractive Late 19th c. Georgian style hall table/side table, of useful small size. The figured mahogany bow-fronted top, which is crossbanded and inlaid with ebony stringing, lies over a single bow-fronted frieze drawer (complete with original brass ring handles) and slender square tapering legs.
