Victorian Mahogany Small Glazed Bookcase ca 1890 This beautiful antique Victorian mahogany small glazed Bookcase has a rectangular top above a moulded edge, two full length glazed doors with key and working lock, the interior has three adjustable shelves. The piece stands on a plain plinth, has been altered from a larger bookcase and is now a smaller more useable size. The piece is a rich medium mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Large Victorian Breakfront Mahogany Bookcase ca 1860 This beautiful antique large Victorian breakfront mahogany bookcase has a moulded cornice above a deep frieze above three glazed panels with arched moulding. The two outer doors have glass knobs, key, working locks and the interior has three removable shelves. The lower section has a moulded breakfront top above three shaped frieze drawers above a central fixed panel and two outer doors all with arched moulding, glass knobs, key and working locks. The interior has one fixed shelf. The lower doors are flanked by two beautiful turned columns and the piece stands on a shaped plinth. The piece splits into two sections, is a warm rich red colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
