Victorian glazed bookcase / Display ca 1870 This beautiful Antique Victorian glazed bookcase has a moulded cornice above two glazed doors with arched moulding and the interior has three adjustable shelves, the lower section has a rectangular moulded top above a shaped frieze drawer, it has two cupboard doors with applied panels and beautifully scrolled carved corbels. The piece stands on turned bun feet and has a key with working locks and original backboards, splits into two pieces, for ease of removal. It is a rich red mahogany colour and has a striking grain, good patina, and is in good condition which has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. Large Victorian Mahogany Glazed Bookcase ca 1850 This beautiful large antique Victorian mahogany glazed bookcase has a moulded cornice above a cross banded deep frieze and has two beautiful carved corbels. The piece had three glazed panels arched moulding, the two outer doors have brass handles, key and working locks and the interior has two fixed shelves. The lower section has a rectangular moulded top above a long shaped frieze drawer and two beautifully carved corbels. The two outer doors have brass knobs, key and working locks and the interior has one fixed shelf. The piece stands on elegant, tulip turned bun feet, splits into two sections for ease of removals, is a warm red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
