This beautiful antique Victorian upholstered armchair attributed to ‘Howard & Sons’ has a shaped buttoned back, swept, buttoned arms and a deep seat. The chair stands on splayed back legs, beautiful turned front legs and white porcelain castors. The chair has been newly upholstered in a neutral open woven fabric with matching piping, the mahogany is a rich / dark mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

A beautiful early Victorian armchair dating to Circa 1840, a beautiful example with elegant turned legs and brass casters. The mahogany frame having been traditionally french polished and waxed prior to upholstery commencing. As can be seen in the pictures this lovely comfy chair has been resprung, rewebbed, and the back deep buttoned and upholstered in a beautiful aubergine velvet. The arms having been padded to provide extra comfort.

A beautiful Early Victorian Library armchair dating to Circa 1850, the serpentine front seat having been reupholstered from a bare frame using traditional materials including horse hair is finished in a lovely green leather. The horseshoe shaped back again in green leather is buttoned and finished in small close nails, having foliate carved mahogany end caps supported by a central pierced foliate carved section flanked by scrolling supports the whole raised on 2 attractive turned and tapering legs with brass bucket casters, the back legs being splayed.

This beautiful antique Victorian walnut upholstered armchair has a shaped back with beautifully carved corners, two elegantly swept arms, stands on splayed back legs and has beautiful cabriole carved front legs. The chair has been recently upholstered in a pink floral fabric with a matching braid trim. The piece has a makers stamp M Wilson, Great Ormond Street, retailers stamp S. Dawes & Sons, Chelsea, is a rich warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
