Splendid Victorian painted and tapestry covered Armchair  
Fabulously carved Victorian Armchair,lovely toprail and carving throughout, the shabby chic painted finish seems to highlight the carving. The tapestry is a little threadbare at the edges and could do with some trimming, however may look even better with a very modern funky fabric instead. - we have a very good upholsterer that we can recommend.

VICTORIAN OPEN ARMCHAIR  
VICTORIAN MAHOGANY BUTTON BACK CHAIR STANDING ON TURNED FRONT LEGS, AND SPLAYED BACK LEGS, AND THEY CARRY THE ORIGINAL CASTERS.THE CHAIR HAS BEEN NEWLY UPHOLSTERED IN AN EXPENSIVE SOFT TAPESTRY FABRIC WITH A BEIGE BACKGROUND WITH GENTLE SHADES OF BLUES, GREENS, AND LIGHT TAN WITH A FLOWER LEAF DESIGN. LINES OF STUDS RUN DOWN THE FRONT AND BACK THE SIZE IS APPROX 29"LONG, 29" DEEP, 31"HIGH..A REALLY STUNNING CHAIR AND TRULY VICTORIAN. VERY REASONABLE TRANSPORT COSTS CAN BE ARRANGED. A delightful pair of mahogany framed Victorian open armchairs, newly traditionally upholstered in a pleasing fairly neutral fabric. Original castors on front turned legs. Very comfortable chairs.

French Victorian bergere gilt open armchair  
Victorian Gilt Open Arm Chair A stunning French Gilt open arm chair dating to 19th Century, this fabulous and comfortable armchair stands on turned and fluted legs with lobed decoration to their tops. The overstuff seat of bowfront outline continues the egg and dart detailing around the periphery of the seat. The open arms each with accanthus leaf detailing top and bottom have padded arm rests. The deep padded back is held within the gilt relief boarders flanked by draping bellflowers and stunning foliate ribboned pattern to the back rail. In a beautiful deep green thick cord material this chair is in lovely original condition and simply oozes quality. Price £895 (Ref:UPH88)

Antique Corner Chair  
A late Victorian Carved Oak yoke-back Corner Chair - Circa 1870 / 1880 in the Gothic revival manner. The seat of this chair has recently been re-upholstered in a cow-hide leather fabric.
