This beautiful antique Victorian inlaid burr walnut pier / display cabinet has a rectangular moulded top with canted corners above a beautiful inlaid frieze and intricate brass banding. The piece has a central glazed cupboard door with key and working lock and the interior has two fixed shelves with original velvet lining. The canted corners have intricate inlays and beautiful brass mounts. The piece stands on shaped bracket feet, has original back boards, is of a superb quality, is a warm medium walnut colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

Dating to Circa 1880 a figured walnut inlaid pier cabinet of good proportions. The single glazed door, veneered in figured walnut with boxwod stringing and walnut banding opens to reveal 3 shelves. The interior will be lined in a cream calico included in the price. The cental door is flanked by 4 gilded ormolu mounts of foliate design with inlaid marquetry panels between.

Circa mid 19th Century a beautiful Victorian Walnut side or Pier Cabinet. This two door example in figured walnut features excellent foliate marquetry inlay to the frieze, canted corners and the panel between the doors. The marquetry is especially good being in several colour tones including greens. Further embellishments take the form of ormolu classical maidens with foliate mounts and key escutions.Very capacious with soft pale apple green silk lined shelves contained behind the glass.
