This beautiful antique Victorian oak library table / writing desk has a rectangular moulded top with a green tooled leather writing insert above two mahogany lined frieze drawers with turned oak knobs and brass key escutcheons. The piece stands on four beautiful turned legs with brass and brown porcelain castors, is a rich medium oak colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

This beautiful large antique Victorian oak refectory table has a rectangular one and a half inch thick solid oak top above a deep frieze and four chunky turned legs. The table has been later adjusted and is now a large, solid, sturdy table and could easily seat up to ten people. Victorian oak extending dining table C1860.This superb three leaf table is all original. The top is figured brown oak, veneered on mahogany with cross grain mouldings which is a top quality method of construction. It has been restored by ourselves and polished to a beautiful warm colour. 125" x 55". £5800. This matches our set of chairs stock no.CH5206 very well.
