| A Victorian silver vesta case, carrying maker's mark, JHT, for Joseph Hayes Taylor, and hallmarks for Birmingham 1880. The vesta has a ring attachment, sliding compartment and match striker.
Width: 0.75 in / 2 cm
Length: 1.375 in / 3.5 cm
Condition : Very good. Some slight surface scratches commensurate with age.

Silver plate is worn, but the vesta is otherwise in very good condition, with strong closure and no bruising.
