The pink enamel on concentric engine turned design, is on both sides of the box. Aside from one very hard to see flake to the enamel shown in the second photo, lower left corner, the box is in very good condition. Size 2 3/8 inches long, by 1.5 inches wide by 7/8 inches high. A very fine display piece or collectable, and a lovely and very useful piece for holding boxed matches for the fireplace or for lighting candles.

Very Fine Edwardian EPNS Serving Set in Case

Very Fine Edwardian EPNS Serving Set in Case

A VERY FINE and Earliest Bow sugar bowl, C.1748.

The condition is EXCELLENT, as it has only 2 small rim chips. no cracks and No restoration. It is an exceptionally early piece, and with the incised R mark. This sugar bowl does not need a cover, as the lip is turned up, and a lid would sit awkwardly on it. The rim is also not level, and is very slightly undulating.

A VERY FINE Meissen figure group of the ravishment of Proserpine, 19th/20th cent

This Meissen figure group is VERY FINELY modelled, and I am not sure my photos can really show this. The condition is AMAZING. All of those limbs and parts that are sticking off have remained in BEAUTIFULL ORIGINAL CONDITION, and this is the first old one of this model I have seen that does not have some sort of damage or restoration. A tiny tiny chip to her thumb and middle finger. Fully marked to the underside of the base with the Meissen crossed swords, and some incised numerals.

A VERY RARE & FINE Chelsea dish, red anchor C.1755.

Possibly painted by JEFFREYS HAMMETT O'NEAL, with Meissen style harbour scenes. The enamels are lovely and bright, as I would say that it has never been used / rubbed. I would say the previous owners put it away. Professionally restored. Size 9 1/2ins across, painted small red anchor mark to rear, and typical Chelsea stilt marks. If you were lucky enough to find one of these in near perfect condition, it would be much over £1,000.

A VERY FINE and WELL PAINTED Worcester sauceboat, C.1757

This RARE example is BEAUTIFULLY painted in real life. The chinoiserie fishing scenes are much fuller than my photos show, and are VERY charming. It is also in LOVELY ORIGINAL CONDITION, with only a chip to the spout, and is quite a large sauceboat at 9ins long by 3 1/2ins high.

VERY RARE and FINE quality Meissen figure of Harliquin

A VERY RARE and FINE quality Meissen figure of Harliquin, after a model by J.J.Kaendler in C.1738. Late 19th / early 20th century. He is SUPERBLY painted, and is full of movement. He is also in PERFECT CONDITION, with no chips, cracks or restorations. First quality, with no incised lines near or through the crossed swords. Size:- 6 1/8ins / 16cms high. I have been looking through all the big auctions etc. and I have not been able to find such a good example as this, except for one nearly as nice, which sold some time ago for over £2,000 including premium. Fully marked with the Meissen crossed swords mark, and various incised numerals.

A VERY FINE Meissen salt, C.1765.Dot or academic period.

This lovely Meissen figure group is one of the VERY FEW I have seen from the 18th century. I see many from the 19th and 20th cent. Also, it is in SUPERB CONDITION throughout. AMAZING. I have seen later pieces with damage or restoration, and they still sell for more than I ask for this ORIGINAL early one. Fully marked to the underside with the crossed swords and dot mark.

A VERY FINE set of Derby Botanical dishes, C.1758.

There are 5 dishes 9 1/4ins length by 7 3/4ins. I have put my labels/ prices on them individually for you to distinguish which is which. They are painted in a style extremely simmilar to Hans Sloane Chelsea, which I have a few examples to compare. There is one at £350 that has a short feint hairline, that has been stappled at the back. Another at £380 with some minor rim nicks. Another at £400 with only 2 rim nicks. The other 2 are in good condition at £450 each. All dishes have been with an American dealer, as there is old labels saying US$1250 each on all dishes. All dishes do have a bit of rubbing to enamels, but are still superb. When held to a light, they all have loads of moons. I guess I might be wrong, and they could be Chelsea, but I bought them as early Derby.

A VERY FINE Bow plate, C.1760.

A VERY GOOD Bow plate, C.1760. From the collection of MRS. D. MaCULLUM, and also with a painter's number 15. This is typical for Bow, and is too high a number to be a Lowestoft one. REMARKABLY, this has remained in SUPERB CONDITION. There are 3 stilt marks where it stood in the kiln. I have seen quite a lot of Blue and white Bow, and nearly all has had some damage or other.

FINE Worcester VERY EARLY sauceboat, C.1755

A FINE Worcester VERY EARLY sauceboat, C.1755. The enamels on this example are really good, and I hope you can see this in my photos. Note the interesting workman's mark to the underside of the base. The handle has been restuck, but there is no other damage or restoration. A really good example of the earliest of Worcester.

VERY RARE and FINE Derby 'Spectacle' plate, C.1758

A VERY RARE and FINE Derby 'Spectacle' plate, C.1758. Hand painted by the 'COTTON STEM' painter. This is a classic piece that is sought after by all serious 18th cent Derby collectors everywhere. I believe it to be called Spectacle, because those joined circles round the rim look like lots of pairs of Spectacles. For such an IMPORTANT piece of Derby, it has remained in AMAZING EXCELLENT condition, with no chips, cracks or restoration. You can count the chip to the underside of the plate footrim if you wish, but it certainly never bothered me when I bought it, and is mentioned for 100% accuracy. I was just pleased to get such a RARE and BEAUTIFULL piece. It also has a bit of a Longton Hall look to it, but has typical painting by the 'Cotton Stem' painter at Derby, which I also adore. Please compare with the Longton Hall dish I am offering
