c1940s50s SOWERBY PRESSED GLASS PANDORA VANITY JAR BOX |
| An excellent, clear and frosted square amber vanity jar, with a sloped and four double rib lid, the jar section with canted double rib corners on a sloped pedestal base. The four sides are decorated in relief with the kneeling figure of a woman holding a box, there is a gathered curtain behind her. Condition: light surface wear to the frosted surface, one or two very minor and typical mould flaws; no cracks, hairlines our bruising - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Seller operates a 100% item purchase price money back returns policy if not completely satisfied. Circa 1940s or 50s, possibly earlier, unmarked but produced by Sowerby, pattern number 2544 "Pandora". 7˝in/19.1cm high including geometric finial, sides 4˝in/11.4cm wide. |
