Georgian Mahogany Twin Pedestal Desk ca 1770 This beautiful antique Georgian mahogany twin pedestal desk has a rectangular moulded flamed mahogany top above a long oak lined drawer, a concealed shaped central drawer and a cupboard door with a raised fielded central panel and the interior has one fixed shelf. Each pedestal has three graduating oak lined drawers with cock beading and brass swan neck handles. The desk has replacement brassware, has some old restoration, stands on beautifully shaped bracket feet, is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.
