Pair of Early 1800's Blue and White Tureens |
| This pair of early 1800's blue and white round tureens are in a very pretty style, decorated with swags , cameos and flowers.
They have no makers marks, the patterns are not worn or scratched, and apart from a small repair to the underside of one of the lids, which has had a shallow chip repaired, but which does not show on the outside, and in no way affects the strength or appearance of the tureen, they are in very good condition, and could, if wished be used. The repair is reflected in the price.
Both decorative and practical.

Royal Staffordshire Pottery Sauce Tureen and Ladle 1895-1910 |
| A very pretty and decorative sauce tureen and matching ladle by Royal Staffordshire Pottery (Thomas Hughes), made between 1895 and 1910.
It is in the attractive 'Cornflower' pattern, and both tureen and ladle are in excellent condition, with no chips, cracks or wear to the pattern. The tureen measures 9" long by 4.5" wide, and the ladle measures 7" in length with the diameter of the bowl measuring 3".
Very often the ladles are missing from sauce tureens, or are damaged, especially the handles, so it is rare to find both tureen and ladle in such good condition.
Please see ref. P0001, 0002 and 0003 for items of the same pattern.
