| This stylish solid silver Art Deco display/trophy cup was manufactured in Sheffield by Gladwin Ltd in 1936. The hallmarks are crisp and clear, and it is in very good condition, with no engraving or monograms, and never has had.
It measures 4.25" (10.1cm) high by 5.75" (10.7cm) handle to handle, and the diameter of the bowl is 3.5" (9cm).
This stylish and elegant cup, with its typically deco handles and classical shape would blend in with either period or modern interiors.

| A Victorian copy, in copper, of the Wimbledon Ladies' Singles Trophy, a salver referred to as the "Rosewater Dish" or "Venus Rosewater Dish", first awarded in 1886. Modelled on the pewter original, The Temperantia, by French artist François Briot.
