SUPERB COALPORT CLAN FERGUSON TRIO, c1815  

A beautiful Coalport trio comprising tea cup, coffee cup and saucer, dating to c1815 and carrying the bee and thistle crest for Clan Ferguson. London shaped and with moulded, gilded and enamelled detail. In excellent condition with just the tiniest of fleabite chips to the tea cup. Birmingham 1894 large solid silver and gold watch fob with thistle design.  

Birmingham 1894 large solid English hallmarked silver and gold watch fob with thistle and leaf design, and pierced work. Inscription to back for 1st prize for calisthenics in 1897. Size without loop is approx. a bit over 1.5 inches long by just over 1 inch wide. In excellent condition.

c1890 THISTLE MARK BLACK AMETHYST RESSED GLASS CAULDRON  

A most attractive twin handled, cauldron shaped, black glass bowl on three legs; the bowl displays a distinctive amethyst hue when held against a strong light source. The piece has a wide polished rim band and two polished thinner bands over a fine stippled body. This item is referred to in "The Peacock and the Lions", Sheilagh Murray, Oriel Press Stockfield 1982, p17 and illustrated as plate #7 Condition: good; small nibbles to the base of one foot; some mould imperfections (definitely not damage); no further flaws - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Circa 1890, marked to the interior with a small relief moulded thistle - I have been unable to identify the mark and if anyone knows do contact me. 3¼in/8.3cm high, just over 5¼in/13.3cm diameter.

A FINE Wemyss inkwell in the sought after THISTLES pattern  

GOOD size at 7ins by 7ins by 2 1/2 high, ands in LOVELY condition with just a small chip to one inkwell rim. STUNNING painting in real life. Fully marked with WEMYSS WARE and what looks like H&S incised.
