Libertys Archibald Knox Pewter Tea Set

Libertys Archibald Knox Pewter 3-Piece Tea Set. Art Nouveau stylised Design. Dimensions : W-24 H-11 (cm)

London 1815 Georgian solid silver set of 3 matching teaspoons by JOHN LIAS II.

London 1815 English hallmarked Georgian solid silver set of teaspoons by famous maker John Lias II from the famous 19th century Lias family of spoon makers. These lovely and graceful Old English pattern teaspoons appear to have had little use in nearly 200 years, and still retain the pointed edge to their bowls. Interestingly they can be very accurately dated to between June 15th and August 31st of the year 1815, as their duty stamp mark was only used during those two months. Hallmarks are very clear. Weight-45 grams. Size-5 3/8 inches long. In very good condition. Can be added to other Georgian teaspoons, or be split as great gifts for babies or grandchildren. See set of 6 very similar ones listed from the same year, and with the same pattern, on this site. These could easily add to that set for a great set of nine.

Sheffield 1947 set of 5 solid silver Art Deco teaspoons.

Sheffield 1947 set of 5 English hallmarked solid silver Art Deco teaspoons. Very heavy in weight at 125 grams, these very geometrically designed stems are characteristic of the Art Deco era. Size-5.25 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. A very nice and useful set of teaspoons in very good condition. We have many other individual and sets of spoons in inventory, so please contact us with your requirements.

London 1815 solid silver set of 6 matching Georgian teaspoons in very good condition.

London 1815 English hallmarked solid silver set of 6 Georgian teaspoons in Old English pattern, with typical Georgian pointed bowls and very clear hallmarks, all matching. Incredibly, the points on the bowls are still sharp. Size-5.25 inches long by 1 1/8 inches wide. Weight-90 grams. Made by Thomas Wallis II and Jonathan Hayne. It is very unusual to find a set of 6 matching Georgian teaspoons, and even more unusual to find them in this condition. Very graceful and beautifully made spoons in very good condition at nearly 200 years old! They are delightful to hold. We have many other individual and sets of spoons in inventory, so please contact us with your requirements.

London 1813 lovely Georgian period solid silver tea service, made by Solomon Hougham.

London 1813 beautiful English hallmarked solid silver George III period three piece tea service, all with matching hallmarks, and made by Solomon Hougham, London silversmith. All three pieces are beautifully decorated with feathered engraving, as well as foliate repoussee decoration (including spout and handle, most unusually), making a very stylish and elegant statement for the table. All pieces also have cast and applied leafy edges and stand on ball feet. There are two very delicately scripted initials on each piece. The teapot has a beautifully shaped silver handle with ivory heat spacers, as well as a large oblong pretty silver finial. The sugar bowl is supported by twin handles with upturned thumb rests. The jug has a similar style handle. Both the sugar bowl and milk jug have the original gilt linings. This is a large sized tea service: The teapot measures 11 inches long by 6.5 inches high; the sugar bowl is 8 inches long by 4.5 inches high; the jug is 5.5 inches long by 4 inches high. Weight-the three pieces weigh 1120 grams of silver or 36 troy ounces together. In very good condition, this is a really lovely tea service, and nearly 200 years old! Please note that the silver tray shown in one photo is for sale separately, but would look lovely with the service. Please search under tray to see full details.
