Stunning Late Victorian brass Renaissance style tazza

Superb Late Victorian solid brass tazza c1890 in the Renaissance style, consisting of a central bowl with gadrooned borders and trailing floral band over a tripartite platform base with three sea serpents and ornate moulded detail to the edge of the platform base.The tazza is very heavy, weghing 7 pounds 8 ounces as it is solid brass. The tazza is in excellent original condition with no dings or dents, cracks or evidence of old repairs. It retains the original aged mellow brass finish and would need to be periodically polished or lacquered according to personal preference. Size: Bowl 9 inches diameter by 7 incheshigh overall with the platform base being 7 inches wide at its widest point.
