Swedish Pine Chest of Drawers / Tallboy

A very chunky Swedish pine chest of 4 drawers, dating from around 1870. Constructed from very substantial scandinavian close grained pine , in overall excellent condition, this chest also sports nicely carved side mouldings , turned feet and great proportions. This chest arrived from Sweden in it's original cream paint finish, but in need of reviving. Hence it received a fresh coat of Crown " Parchment", which was very close to the original shade. It has been slightly distressed and repolished. Dimensions : 81cm wide 92cm high 46cm deep.

George III Chest on Chest / Tallboy

A fine late 18th century Cuban figured mahogany chest on chest. It benefits from a detailed moulded and dental cornice over two short drawers and six graduated drawers being oak lined and having brass handles, although the handles are matching but not all identical, and standing on splay bracket feet. The drawer fronts are dressed in beautifully figured mahogany veneers of excellent quality and with well developed colour. 119cm wide, 59cm deep, 197cm high (maximum to cornice)
