Edwardian Inlaid Card / Games Table ca 1900 This beautiful antique Edwardian inlaid card / games table has a rectangular moulded top with a striking central oval inlaid section, the top swivels and opens to double in size, has a central green baize insert and a concealed games compartment. The piece stands on four tapering legs and has a lower shaped tier with a satinwood banded edge. The top has a small mark and the piece has a maker stamp ‘Brown & Beveridge, Glasgow’. The piece is a rich red mahogany colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing. c1900 COBALT OVERLAY SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE, SILVER TRIM

NEW. A handsome cobalt overlay glass scent bottle, with a honeycomb facet stopper. The bottle has a trumpet rim, lightly waisted neck and compressed globular body on a flat base; the surface is cut to clear with a series of oblong and circular lenses, flower petals and grooves, the base in embellished with a star burst. The shoulders are decorated with a pierced floral pattern sterling silver band, the rim is mounted with a plain silver cover. Condition: stopper a good fit but possibly a replacement, one or two nibbles and nicks to the stopper; light age and use wear; no damage found - if you have any questions about this item, contact me. Circa 1900 Edwardian period exquisite rosewood 2 tier etagere table.

Superb very fine rosewood circa 1900 Edwardian period 2 tier etagere table, crossbanded with satinwood and inlaid with boxwood, ivory and ebony. Stands on tapering legs united by "x" stretcher. Wonderful foliate and scroll pattern inlay to top centre, harebell inlay to tier supports, and fan and line decoration to legs. In lovely original condition. Rare to find in rosewood and satinwood, and with such fine and expensive inlay. Overall dimensions are 35 inches wide by 22 inches deep by 31.5 inches high. There is a 10 inch difference in height between the two tiers. Top tier dimensions are 27 inches long by 14 inches wide. Both decorative and useful, this is a very elegant and superior piece in excellent condition. It would be very difficult to find a better example.
