This beautiful antique William IV rosewood card table has a rectangular top with rounded corners which swivels and unfolds to double in size and reveals a concealed games compartment. The interior has a green baize insert. The frieze has three beautifully turned motifs and the piece stands on an octagonal pedestal with quadriform base and has beautiful turned feet with brass castors. The top is a little marked due to age and use, the piece is a rich medium rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

This beautiful William IV antiques rosewood tilt top dining table has a circular mahogany top with a deep rosewood frieze which tilts and has original brass mechanism. The piece stands on a beautiful turned, bulbous pedestal with ornate carved edge, has a circular base and tripod scrolled, carved legs. The piece is a rich medium rosewood colour with a striking grain, good patina, is in very good condition and has been beautifully cleaned using a traditional form of wax finishing.

William IV rosewood tripod table |
| This is a lovely William IV rosewood table dating from c1935. The tatable has a round top in figured rosewood veneers. The central pedestal in solid rosewood is baluster turned and has carved moulding detail at the base. The round sloping platform base in also solid dark figured rosewood sits above three lions paw feet.
The table is in good condition with no cracks, splits or other damage and is nicely polished, having been carefully looked after over the years.
It would make a perfect little wine table/lamp table at the side of an armchair or sofa.
Size: Top is 17.5 inches diameter by 21 inches hgh. |
